Total: 86 species

Notes:

- There is extreme variation within some species e. g. grouping within the maxima-complex (Borneo? - Celebes `N. eymae« - New Guinea) is still unresolved. Another difficult species is N. singalana from Sumatra. Jebb and Cheek have created a new name for the G. Bandahara form (`N. diatas«) but didn«t consider other variants such as the very small form from G. Tudjuh etc..

- N. philippinensis is still in the list though Jebb and Cheek mention it under N. alata without having seen the type. For clarification observations in the field are necessary as well as collecting new specimen from the locus classicus.

The following table shows the distribution of the species in different localities together with the number of endemic species occuring there.
